Note to indies:
The fact that no one commented on the posts so far — not even to vote on the book cover poll — even with >2000 alleged followers — tells me the Sterling Brothers were right: neither Twitter or a blog is your best choice of social media to support your writing — something about that finance rule, 20% of effort invested for 80% of returns. I’ll be considering a different way to interact with readers.
From a different perspective, I did announce from the very beginning that I was exhuming a dead blog — one where I had published >300 articles — for the purpose of sharing my “weird indie publishing project” because I knew it was private!
