Pam Young taught inner city kids in Texas for five years,
periodically re-visiting The University of Texas in Austin to learn more about how to work with the delicious diversity of culture and learning styles she encountered in San Antonio’s inner city classrooms. She got her PhD from The University of Texas, Austin, and was a professor for the next twenty years,
helping students to achieve their goals. After a two-year walkabout–stretching her perspective and learning from Huichol shamans, Mind-Body therapists, and Yogis–she tossed the mortarboard and became a Holistic Health Practitioner,
helping clients to achieve their mind, body, and spirit goals. In a celebration of her spiritual path (which was greatly enhanced when she finally quit smoking) she now writes with the same intentions. For a limited time–till December 21, 2012–you can follow her blog, at http://www.SkatingThru2012.com.
